Every reference in Arete resolves to a public identifier — a DOI, arXiv id, ISBN, or a canonical URL. Where a claim cannot be traced to a verifiable source, Arete says so plainly rather than fabricating one.
Portable formats
Manuscripts export to PDF, DOCX, LaTeX, Markdown, and plain text. Bibliographies export to BibTeX, RIS, and CSL-JSON. You are never trapped in a proprietary format.
Reproducibility
Datasets, code, and analyses record their language, package versions, execution time, and the dataset revision they ran on. Others can see, review, and rerun the work.
Transparent AI
When Arete suggests a revision, a source, or an analysis, it shows what was changed and why. Suggestions never overwrite your work without your explicit approval.
