Four-week curriculum
  1. Week 1
    Choosing and defining a research problem

    Framing questions, scoping the topic, and mapping what you already know.

  2. Week 2
    Finding, evaluating, and organizing sources

    Search strategies, source quality, and building a reference library.

  3. Week 3
    Literature reviews, citations, and responsible AI

    Synthesis by theme, proper citation, and where AI helps ethically.

  4. Week 4
    Manuscript structure, posters, and presentation prep

    Sections that hold together, and communicating your work clearly.

Ethical-use policy

The bootcamp exists to help students do their own research well. Arete supports the researcher — it never writes assignments, theses, or papers on a student's behalf. Participants who ask Arete or its mentors to complete graded work will be removed from the program.

Who is this for?

Undergraduate and graduate students working on a research project, thesis, or first paper.

Will Arete write my paper for me?

No. The bootcamp supports you in doing your own research properly. It will never produce a thesis, assignment, or paper on your behalf.

Where does it run?

Live online for the first cohort. In-person cohorts follow as Arete House opens.

What does it cost?

Pricing is announced with each cohort. Institutional cohorts are quoted separately.
